| 内容記述 | We investigated the distribution of medium and large sized mammals taking a photograph by automatic cameras, which were set on 77 points among 41 meshes in Kagawa Prefecture in Japan during 2016 to 2019. One mesh covers an area of 5 km². Nyctereutes procyonoides was taken as pictures in 69 points (79.2%), and Sus scrofa was taken in 61 points (79.2%) among 15 mammals photographed. Macaca fuscata (Mf) and Cervus nippon (Cn) were taken in higher rate in Shodoshima Island (S) than in the mainland of Kagawa (MK) [Mf = S: 3 points (50%), MK: 4 points (5.6%) / Cn = S: 6 points (100%), MK: 4 points (5.6%)] among 5 mammals photographed in both areas. Among 15 common meshes between the previous report in 2019 and the present study, Procyon lotor was taken in 12 meshes (80%) as a new one in the present study. We conclude the excluding of Procyon lotor from “the endangered mammal list of Kagawa Prefecture, 2021”, though the investigation method differs between the the two reports. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
