| 内容記述 | The chief objective of this paper is to find a new perspective for Hume's philosophy by reexamining the difference between Reid's concept of Power and David Hume's concept of power. Reid constructed his philosophy by criticizing Hume on almost every important argument in Hume's Philosophy. Especially arguments about concept of power are very important. We have already considered Reid's system before. So now we turn our inquiry for the other side of problem. We discover some inconsistencies Hume's theory, but these difficulties illuminate three different stages in Hume's System, which are neglected by Hume scholars. But these inconsistencies will be explained away reconsidering Hume's arguments in terms of relations of these stages. | |||||||||||
