At first, how many years does it take for dripping to wear away the stone? By carring out calculations, it was found that the time to wear away the stone is supposed to be more than 100 years by constant dripping of pure water. Geologically speaking, this is not such a long time, but it is too long time to maintain dripping in the same place and situation. If the dripping is more acidic solution, the dripping will wear away the stone more easily.
