| 内容記述 | The inhibitory effect of 18 kinds of phthalic acid esters (PAE) on Tetraphymena pyriformis W was investigated with following results; 1) The cytostatic toxicity was observed in PAE having a alkyl chain of C1 to C8 in its alcohol moiety, among those di-n-butyl phthalate and di-isobutyl phthalate inhibited the growth of the cells completely at the concentration of 50 μg/ml or highter. A moderate toxicity was shown in di-n-propyl phthalate, di-isopropyl phthalate, diallyl phthalate, di-n-butoxyethyl phthalate, benzyl n-butyl phthalate and n-butyl phthalyl n-butylglycolate. These results suggest that a butyl or an analogous group in the alcohol moiety may have some characteristic effects on such cytotoxicity of PAE. 2) The parallel relationship between penetration of PAE into the cells and its hydrophobicity was observed, but the degree of cytotoxicity of PAE did not correlate both with its permeability into the cells and its concentration in the cells. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | 原虫Tetraphymena pyriformis W株に対する各種フタル酸エステル(PAE)の増殖抑制作用を, 化学構造ならびに原虫細胞への透過性との関連から検討した. 1. 各種PAEのアルコール部炭素数1?8のホモジエステル型に毒性が示され, DBPをピークとする化学構造-毒性相関が認められた. ブチル基を部分構造とするヘテロジエステル型にも毒性が示されたことから, 活性発現にブチル基もしくはこれと同程度の大きさの基を有するアルコール部の有意性が示唆された。 2. PAEの原虫細胞内への透過性は, PAEの脂溶性と相関を示した. しかし, 透過性と毒性, あるいは細胞内濃度と毒性の相関性は認められなかった. BBPおよびBPBGでは原虫による著名な代謝分解が推測された. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
