Furtheremore, the investigation was extended to survey on the microorganisms which were able to degrade the organic pesticide of BHC. The results were as follows: (1) As described in the preceding paper, the supply of mineral complexes resulted in increases in the porosity and in the humus content of soil, especially, remarkable results were noted by supply of Algit. (2) When the mineral complexes supplied in the fields cultivated water melons and melons, well growth of the stems and leaves was observed and the yield and the quality of fruits were improved. (3) The population of microorganisms in the soil supplied with the minerals in relatively high amount was higher than that in the non-fertilized soil. The microorganisms having abilities or removal of α-and γ-BHC from the liquid culture medium were frequently isolated but those of β-BHC were rare. Detailed experiments employing the high potent strains showed that the bacterial strain might degrade α- and γ-BHC to less chlorinated compounds through dehydrochlorination, whereas the fungal strain absorbed the BHC isomers on its mycelial mat and hardly degraded them. (4) The supply of the mineral complexes in soil did somewhat inhibit absorption of BHC isomers into radish roots but stimulated transfer of the absorbed isomers to other parts of radish.","subitem_description_language":"en","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"},{"subitem_description":"前報に引続いて, 複合ミネラル施用が, 土壌の理科学性, 栽培野菜類の発育と品質, および土壌微生物の活性に及ぼす影響について, 検討を加えるとともに, 有機塩素系農薬の野菜類への吸収・蓄積との関連を追及した. さらにBHCの分解能を持つ微生物の検索へと研究を展開させた. 結果はつぎのようである. (1) 前報と同様に, 複合ミネラルを施用することにより, 土壌の孔隙量と腐植含量の増加がみられた. このことは, とくにアルギットの施用により顕著であった. (2) スイカ, メロン栽培の畑に複合ミネラルを施用すると, 茎葉の健全な発育ならびに, 果実の収量と品質の向上がみられた. (3) 比較的多量の複合ミネラルを施用した土壌の微生物数は, 無施用土壌のそれよりも多かった. 液体培養によろα-とγ-BHCの分解能をもつ微生物はかなり頻繁に見出される. しかしβ-BHCを分解するものは希であった. 選定菌株による実験では, 細菌の場合α-およびγ-BHCを脱塩化水素反応によって分解するものと考えられたが, かびではBHCを菌体に吸着するが, 殆んど分解しないことが判った.
