| 内容記述 | The effect of the continuous lighting or darkness on the excretion of cecal feces was studied using 60 day-old single comb white Leghorn cockerels. The results obtained were as follows. 1) The cecal excretion peak which is usually observed in the early morning was also observed just after starting the continuous lighting. But the peak was diminished with the lapse of lighting time, and a peculiar pattern of the excretion was observed by continuing the lighting for more than 4 days. 2) The sudden increase of the excretion of cecal feces was observed just after lighting at 22 or 2 hour. But it was not observed at that time of the next day after lapsing the time under the lighting condition. 3) The cockerels were kept under darkness for 30 hours from 14 hour. The cecal feces were excreted from 7 hour of the next morning and the highest excretion of them was seen from 9 to 10 hour. After 16 hour, the excretion was not observed. | |||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | 60日齢の単冠白色レグホーン種雄を用い, 連続明および暗処理開始直後の盲腸糞排泄の様相を調査した. 1)連続照明開始直後の早朝に急激に起る排泄ピークは大きかったが, 日時の経過にともなってその排泄ピークは小さくなり, 4日目以後は連続照明個有の排泄パターンを示した. 2)22時および2時に連続照明を開始すると, いずれも照明開始後急激に盲腸糞が排泄されたが, 24時間経過後の22時および2時には排泄ピークはみられなかった. 3)14時から連続暗にし, 30時間調査した結果, 翌朝の7時から盲腸糞の排泄が開始され, 9?10時に排泄ピークがみられたが, 16時以降では排泄がみられなかった. | |||||||||||||
