| 内容記述 | Young satsuma mandarin trees on trifoliate orange rootstock were grown in sand culture with six nitrogen levels (0 to 160 ppm) for six years. Phosphoric acid and potassium in nutrient solutions were maintained at 40ppm. Alternate bearing occurred on the trees in all plots. Among them, 20 to 40ppm of nitrogen application resulted in higher fruit yields, and total yield for six years was highest in the 20 ppm-plot. Variations of the fruit qualities by the growing season were found. But, there was a tendency that as nitrogen supply increased the fruit size became smaller and coloring of fruits was retarded. Proportion of rind of a fruit became lower in lower nitrogen levels. Total and reducing sugar content in the fruit juice were higher, and citric acid content was lower in 20 to 40 ppm of nitrogen application. From the results of this study, the optimum value of leaf nitrogen content in August for the fruit production with high fruit quality is considered to be less than 3%. | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | 樹勢のそろったカラタチ台杉山系温州ミカン7年生樹を窒素施用濃度の6段階(0, 10, 20, 40, 80, 160ppm)で6か年継続砂耕し, 果実収量ならびに果実品質の年次変化を観察した. 隔年結果現象がすべての供試樹に認められたが, 窒素施用濃度が20?40ppmの範囲で果実収量が多く, 6年間の累積収量は20ppm区で最高であった. 果実品質の面でも年次による変異が多かった. 果実の大きさは施用濃度が高くなるほど小果となった. 果皮歩合および果皮の着色の点からは10?20ppmの範囲で優れ, 果汁の糖, 酸含量および甘味比の点からは20?40ppmの範囲で優れた. 綜合的にみて, 温州ミカンの果実品質は8月の葉内窒素含有率が3%以下で良好のように思われる. | |||||||||||
