| 内容記述 | Aeolosoma species were isolated from mixed liquor of an aeration tank operating in a food industry. Aeolosoma were able to grow in microculture slides and glass bottles by feeding on flocs of activated sludge. The number of these metazoa was retained at the maximal level over 20 days of culture. A maximal density of Aeolosoma observed was approximately 340 individuals per ml of mixed liquor. Specific growth rate (μ) and mean generation time (tg) of Aeolosoma by the asexual reproduction were calculated to be approximately 0.6 day-1 and 28 hours, respectively. | |||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | 活性汚泥法エアレーションタンクより, 貧毛類に属するAeolosomaを分離した. Aeolosomaは汚泥を食餌として, スライドグラス中およびガラスびん中で培養が可能で, その個体数は, 最高レベルに達した後も20日間以上に亘って安定に保たれた. 最高の存在濃度は, 培養混合液1mlあたり340個体であった. 1個体から出発した場合, 無性生殖による比増殖速度(μ)は約0.6day-1, 平均世代時間(tg)は約28時間であった. | |||||||||||||||||
