| 内容記述 | The cell suspension cultures of Cassia angustifolia (Leguminosae), called senna, were found to produce chrysophanol, physcion and rhein as anthraquinones, and chrysophanol‐10, 10' ‐bianthrone, chrysophanol‐physcion‐10, 10'‐bianthrone and chrysophanol‐isophyscion‐10, 10'bianthrone as bianthrones, although no sennoside (glucosides of rhein‐10, 10'‐bianthrone), strong purgative agents in senna, was detected in the cell cultmes. The chemical structures of the compounds isolated from the cultured cells indicate that they have the capability of forming the carbon skeleton of bianthrone, an aglycone of sennosides, and rhein, an important structure block of the aglycone, while the cultured cells Jack the ability to produce easily detectable amounts of the bianthrone glucosidcs. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
