The composition of respondent for both sex and age were almost similar as the composition of elderly persons aged 65 or older living in Miki. The respondents of 30% or more were inconvenient for eating. The 60% or more persons aged 90 or more were inconvenient. The cause of the inconvenience for the eating was mainly lowerig of mastication. The 30% of respondent in inconvenience for eating felt the meal was not palatable occasionally. The texture of food was mainly responsible for the unpalatable of meal. The finely cut foods were supplied to the 60% of respondent in inconvenience for eating.
