The dissolution CH4 concentrations were 64〜7.21×10³ nM. CH4 emission was 0〜157 mmol/m²/day and high in the sites where the mud sedimented over 10 cm. These values were higher than CH4 emission of the eutrophic lake, and close to the emission from the paddy field. It was indicated that the mud which flowout from the paddy field sedimented in the river, and the anaerobic environment formed in the river
