| 内容記述 | Just-in-Time (JIT) productin has been widely prevailing not only in Japan but also all over the world. It is very suitable production management system (PMS) in the period of high-variety and low-volume production. But when it comes to the research on JIT and its influence on cost management, even in Japan where JIT was originated and most widely spread, there are very few statistical researches into it. This paper aims at filling up a gap in the research topic. This paper shows a trend of informatization of cost management, variety of consumer needs and their impacts on production systems, shortening of the product life-cycle and its influencce on cost reduction, major problems and their techniques of cost management, and changing cost structure and inventory assets in the era of high-variety and low-volume production in Japan. | |||||||||||
