| 内容記述 | The five wood remains were discovered from the subsurface deposits of the ruins of the Takamatsu central baseball field of Takamatsu city and of the Shiohama Site at Yoshima of Sakaide city, Kagawa Prefecture, northern Shikoku. The four materials from Takamatsu are in the late Yayoi period - the early Old Thom period, judging from the chronological order of the pottery. The another one from Yoshima is in the early-middle Jomon period indicating a date of 4,950 ± 160 y. B. P. (GaK-8887) by means of 14C radiocarbon dating method. The former materials are identified as Aphananthe sp., Zelkova sp., Cinnamomum sp. and Sapindus sp. The later belongs to Cinnamomum sp. These forms are living in the hill zone - the mountain zone around the hinterland of the Seto Inland Sea at present. Therefore, it seems that the paleo - climate and paleo - vegetation at that time were similar to the present. | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | 1) 香川県高松市の中央球場跡地から弥生時代後期～古墳時代前期の埋れ木と坂出市与島の塩浜遺跡あとから縄文時代前期～中期の埋れ木が産出したことを述べた。これらは県下における初めての完新世大型植物化石である。 2) 中央球場跡地からのものはAphananthe sp. Zelkova sp. Cinnamomum sp., Sapindus sp. の4点, 塩浜遺跡あとからのものはCinnamomum sp. である。 3) これらに相当する樹種は県内の平地部から山間部にもよく生育しており, これら埋れ木を産した当時も, 現在と同様, 暖温帯域にあったことが推定されることを述べた。 | |||||||||||
