 note = {The distribution of the Argentine ant, Linepithema humile, was investigated in 15 harbor areas of Shikoku Isl., western Japan in 2010. Argentine ants were found only in Tsuda‐port (Tsudakaigan‐cho), Tokushima‐shi. Investigation of the ant fauna in residential areas adjacent to Tsuda‐port and 18 urban parks in Tokushima‐shi indicated that the distribution of Argentine ants is limited into reclaimed land ofTsudakaigan‐cho., アルゼンチンアリは遅くとも1993年に広島県廿日市市に侵入し，それ以後日本各地に侵入し定着している。これまで四国ではアルゼンチンアリの侵入例はなかったが，2010年9月に徳島県徳島市津田海岸町の津田港付近に定着していることが確認され，四国の他地域にもアルゼンチンアリが侵入している可能性が示唆された。そこで本研究では．四国内の物流の多い港湾とその近辺の物流拠点を侵入危険地域とみなし分布調査を行った。外国商船の入港隻数の多い港湾15か所で歩行調査（合計151km）を行ったところ，アルゼンチンアリは津田港周辺以外では発見できなかった。これらの調査では．アルゼンチンアリが侵入すると顕著に減少する在来アリが各地で確認できたため．四国では徳島県の侵入地を除くとアルゼンチンアリが広範囲に分布している地点はまだないと思われる。},
