内容記述 The Supply Chain Management has become more complex over the years and has transcended basic analysis of the transit of goods/information between its agents, therefore it is necessary to study these agents and its subdivisions as well, such as warehousing. One of the main problems when dealing with warehouse management is the Bullwhip Effect that Forrester (1961) initially called Amplification which is an overestimation of the response by one of part of the system that propagates throughout the Supply Chain. Among the many methods to deal with this problem is reducing uncertainty within the system by sharing information while decreasing its inaccuracies. One of the ways to reduce uncertainty is to introduce new technologies available in the context of Industry 4.0, especially RFID. For instance, Masudin et al (2021) stated that between the several IT tools available in the market like bar code scanners, warehouse management system (WMS) and electronic data interchange (EDI), studies have stablished that RFID has a significant effect on both warehouse and inventory management than any other technology. When introducing RFID in a hypothetical company that used to do the data entry of inventory manually there are two aspects of inaccuracies that will be observed in this study as KPI's is the inventory accuracy and the delay of the real inventory and the inventory currently in the system. This study expects to observe an improvement of the inventory accuracy and a shortening of the real and system inventory.
