看護系大学の看護系教員代表者101名を対象に質問紙調査を実施し,看護基礎教育における医療安全教育に関して,カリキュラム上の位置づけ,教育内容の実態を明らかにした.そこで,医療安全教育は様々な領域で実施されているが,その内容は各担当科目の教員の裁量に任せられており,カリキュラム上一貫して教育が展開されているとは言い難い現状であった.教育内容ではフェールセーフシステム,安全文化の醸成などの組織的取り組みについては未実施の大学もあり,臨床との連携の必要性も示唆された.また,ヒューマンエラーや看護・医療事故の種類,構造,分析方法など知識の獲得のレベルまでの教育が多く,看護場面で適用できるまで教育されている内容は少なかった.今後,看護基礎教育において,どの領域で,どのような内容を,どのような方法で,どのレベルまで教育し,さらに現任教育へと継続させていくかを明らかにしていくことが重要と考える. |

A questionnaire survey was conducted on 101 nursing instructors representing various nursing universities in order to elucidate the position of medical safety education in curricula for basic nursing education as well as the actual contents of medical safety education. Although medical safety education was implemented in various domains, its contents were left to the discretion of instructors in each applicable department, and were essentially inconsistent with regard to curricula. Regarding contents, some universities had not implemented organizational measures such as fail-safe systems and development of a safety culture, indicating a need for cooperation with clinical departments. In addition, education tended to focus only on acquisition of knowledge such as the types, structures, and analysis of human errors and nursing and medical accidents, and rarely included the application of such knowledge to nursing settings. It is necessary in the future to clarify the domains, contents, methods, and levels of medical safety education in basic nursing education, and to elucidate ways to connect such education to in-service education. |
