香川県スモン患者の現状を把握する目的で, 平成17年度と平成19年度に厚生労働科学研究補助金スモンに関する調査研究班により作成されたスモン現状調査個人票から抜粋した16項目と自由記述からなるアンケート調査を行い, 対象者21名中, 平成17年度は13名, 平成19年度は16名から回答を得た. 平成17年度に比べて平成19年度では, 寝たきり・ベッド上生活者と, 新聞の大きい字なら読める患者の増加が認められ, 加齢に伴う運動機能の低下と視力障害が進んでいることが示唆された. 自由記述では, 身体機能の低下に伴い介護が必要となった場合の介護者の確保や経済的負担に対する不安感が述べられていた. 高齢化する患者の医療と介護における社会的支援の見直しが必要とされる. |

To grasp the present state of patients with SMON living in Kagawa prefecture, we performed a questionnaire survey consisting of 16 items and free description extracted from a questionnaire for the annual medical check made by the investigation and research group for SMON, which was founded by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, in 2005 and 2007, and receives answers from 16 of 21 objective patients. In comparison to data in 2005, we observed and increase of bedridden patients or patients dwelling in a bed, and patients who were capable to read only large letter in news papers in 2007. This result suggests progression of decreased motor function and optical disability according to aging in the patients. In the free description, patients felt in uneasiness about securing caretakers and economic burden when they need care due to decreased physical function. We hope immediate reconstruction of the social support system in medical and other cares to the aged patients. |
