断酒会に所属する会員に対し, 断酒会入会から現在の飲酒・断酒に関する行動について, 婚姻による影響を明らかにすることを目的に分析した. 断酒会会員295人を調査対象とし, 質問紙および留置き法で行った結果, 回収率は56.8% (167名 : 男性150名, 女性17名) であった. 調査対象者の平均年齢は58.6±11.1 (mean±SD) (男性59.7±10.5, 女性48±11.7) 歳であった. 既婚率は81.4& (136名), 未婚率は15.6% (26名), 未記入率3.0% (5名) であった. 調査内容は, 1) 婚姻状況に加えて, 2) 婚姻状況, 断酒会への参加状況, 断酒会の有用性などに関する11の質問項目, 3) アルコール問題による家庭問題などに関する2つの質問項目, 合計14の質問項目であった. 断酒会入会から現在の断酒に至るまでの過程について婚姻の有無による影響があるかどうかについて比較した. その結果, アルコール問題により家庭を破壊した後に家庭を修復した経験 (χ2=12.29, P=0.0005) 以外は, 有意差はみられなかった. 婚姻の有無に関わらず, 断酒会への満足度は高く, 断酒継続に強い影響を及ぼしていることが推察された. |

The purpose of this research is to clarify influence of the marriage about the family situation by alcohol-related problems, and participating situation to the self-help group for alcoholics "Danshu-kai" (Japan Sobriety Association, JSA) for total abstinence et. A mail survey and/or a placement method survey on alcohol dependency were conducted in two prefectures. Participants were 294 patients who are affiliated with JSA and had been treated for alcoholism. The response rate was 56.8% (150 males, 17 females). Subjects7 average age was 58.6±11.1 (mean±SD) years (male, 59.7±10.5 ; female, 48±11.7 years). The average of the first alcoholic experience of them was at the age of 18.4±6.3. Twenty eight men (18.6%) and five women (29.4%) started drinking at the age of less than 15 years old. Average duration of drinking was 25.4±11. 3 years (male, 26.4 ; female, 16.5 years), and average abstinence periods were 10.1±9.5 years (male, 10.6 ; female, 4.5 years). A married rate was 81.4% (n=136), unmariied rate was 15.6% (n=26), and unanswered rate was 3.0% (n=5). The questionnaire is composed of 14 items that 1) marital status, 2) 11 question items about the participating situation to the JSA, and the usefulness of the JSA, etc., 3) 2 question items about the family situation by alcohol-related problems. Statistically significant difference was obtained in experience which recover from a dysfunctional family in the married group (χ2=12.29, p=0.0005). However, there was no statistical difference in the other items in both groups. These results suggest that 1) participants very satisfied with the JSA regardless of the mariiage status, 2) JSA had done positively impact on continuation of total abstinence. |
