| 内容記述 | 矢作川河口周辺の海域において，アユ仔稚魚の分布を調べるために集魚灯による採集を行った。採集は2002年の11月から翌年2月および2003年の11月から翌年の3月にかけて，河口より沖合4kmまでの海域で月に1回実施した。その結果，アユ仔稚魚は海岸より1km沖合までで主に採集され，2月下旬から3月上旬を除き河口の東側の地点で多く採集された。12月の調査結果にもとづき地点ごとのアユ仔稚魚の採集数と底質の有機物量との間の関係を調べたところ，有機物量が多いほどアユ仔稚魚は減少する傾向がみられた。 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | The horizontal distribution of larval and juvenile ayu Plecoglossus altivelis altivelis, and its relation to the amounts of organic matter in sediments, were investigated in the sea around the Yahagi Estuary within 4km from the rivermouth in their two reproductive seasons (1st: November 2002-February 2003, 2nd: November 2003-March 2004). Ayu were collected with aqua lamps within 1km area from the coast, and also east of the rivermouth in both years except late February to early March when ayu annually start to ascend the river. Significant negative correlations were found between the distribution of ayu and the amounts of organic matter in the sediments; the larvae and juveniles being collected above the bottoms with less than 1% ignition losses and less than 6mg g⁻¹ total organic carbon content. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
