| 内容記述 | A queen of Polyrhachis lamellidense was collected from a nest of Camponotus obscuripes in Fujio-san, Takamatsu-shi, western Japan, on 28 November 2011. The colony of C. obscuripes nested in a dead tree branch on the ground, and it was composed of at least 123 workers and 377 larvae. The ovaries of the queen of P. lamellidense showed no yellow bodies, suggesting that the queen invaded into the host colony this autumn after her nuptial flight. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
