| 内容記述 | A total number of 35 specimens of Myocaster coypus were collected from Honjima, Teshima, and Oteshima (Marugame City), and Shyodoshima and Teshima (Shyozu-gun), Kagawa Prefecture. These islands are distributed in the Seto Inland Sea. Among 10 females, four ones were pregnant with four to ten embryos in their uterus collected in June, September, October, and November. Among 15 males, eight ones had sexually active testes collected in September, December, January and February. There has been no information of the nutria on the breeding or the living on these islands and/or Shikoku. The nutria has been killed more than 1500 individuals as harmful animals since 1998 in Okayama Prefecture. Some of these nutrias would migrate or disperse through the sea from Oakayama Prefecure, where the nutria is abundant around the mouth of Rivers Takahashi, Asahi, and Yoshii. | |||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | 1) 2007年8月31日に香川県丸亀市本島でヌートリアの死亡個体(骨格のみ)が発掘された。 2) 2008年6月にヌートリアの有害鳥獣申請後, 箱ワナを用いた駆除捕獲の結果, 2009年2月までに岡山に面する香川県側のほとんどの島嶼部, すなわち小豆島, 本島, 手島, 小手島で捕獲され, 計35頭であった。また, 豊島では1頭死亡個体が目撃された。 3) 捕獲した採集月でみると2008年6月4頭, 8月3頭, 9月7頭, 10月2頭, 11月5頭, 12月3頭, 2009年1月5頭, 計35頭であった。捕獲総個体中, 雄22頭, 雌13頭(うち妊娠が確認されたのは6頭)であった。 4) 肉眼で胎児を持った妊娠雌の出現月, および副精巣尾部が管状を示し性的成熟に達している雄の出現月から推測すると, ヌートリアの繁殖活動は春と, 秋から冬にかけておこなわれていると推測される。 5) 手島では鞍部の200m x 200m程度のわずかな畑地で小さな小川しかなく, 計21頭が捕獲されたということは, 外部から絶えず侵入していることが考えられる。 6) 1994～2005年度までの「岡山県環境白書」ではほぼ1500頭以上が捕獲され, 上述の捕獲・目撃された島嶼部以外に直島での捕獲記録もあることから, これらのヌートリアは自力遊泳かあるいは何かの浮遊物を使って今回捕獲・目撃された島嶼部へたどり着いたという推測が可能である。 | |||||||||||||||||
